As for the children themselves, I am so relieved that they didn’t actually hate Shuri and that they had actually appreciated and loved her. It seems like everyone just had a hard time fully communicating their feelings.

I hope we’ll get to know more about previous Empress. She’s the most mysterious person and from all her entangled relationships with Johaness, Emperor, Duke etc she seems to be the reason for Shuli to be brought to this chess board yet there was so little about Empress in manhwa. Only some hints and tons of unanswered questions.

Once again flow of the events in manhwa and novel is a bit different but in no way it’s bad. I just hope we get conversation between Jeremy and CP that happened in jail which was in mahwa. That was such a powerful scene.
